Wakefield Hospice

Wakefield Hospice was founded in 1982 and opened in 1990 by the people of Wakefield.

The hospice is committed to providing the highest level of symptom management and care for people who have advanced active, progressive and life threatening illness.

The hospice endorses a holistic approach in promoting quality of life for patients as well as in the continuing support that is offered to families and carers throughout the period of illness and into bereavement.

Hospice care is free of charge to patients who have been assessed as in need of specialist palliative care. This is where you can help by raising funds for the hospice by doing a sponsored skydive.

By pledging to do a sponsored parachute jump you can raise money for Wakefield Hospice and have the experience of a lifetime. Jumping from a perfectly serviceable aeroplane takes a good deal of courage. Just ask your friends, family and work colleagues how much they are prepared to pay not to jump out of an aircraft, and put that money to the cause.

Book your jump and start fundraising now!
